The iPhone 3G is built with a 320 x 480 pixels, 3.5 inches touch screen that provides 16 million colours. This touch screen features multi-touch input method, accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate, proximity sensor for auto turn-off and ambient light sensor. There is a built in option of either 8GB or 16GB shared memory for storage. In terms of connectivity, this mobile phone is able to connect via GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g and Bluetooth v2.0. It uses Safari to browse internet in HTML. It is installed with Mac OS X v10.4.10 as its operating system. There is a built-in 2 MP, 1600x1200 pixels camera at the back and a secondary video call camera in front. Moreover, this phone is equipped with a built-in GPS receiver with A-GPS function that provides navigation function for user. Map on iPhone 3G combines GPS, Wi-Fi and mobile tower location technology. Moreover, the iPhone 3G supports Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, delivering push email, calendar and contacts. And it gives mobile users secure access to corporate resources with Cisco IPSec VPN and network services with WPA2 Enterprise and 802.1X authentication. Other features include iPod audio/video player, TV output, photo browser/editor, voice memo and integrated hands-free. Its battery enables to handle up to 300 hours in stand-by and up to 10 hours of talk time.
