The N96 is designed with 240 x 320 pixels, 2.8 inches 16 millions colours TFT display to provide high quality display for the user to watch videos, movies and even browsing the internet. Besides that, it is built with 16GB internal memory that enables the user to store numerous movies, videos, music and data into the phone. The memory also features 128MB RAM, 256MB storage together with dual ARM 9 264 MHz CPU. There is also a microSD card slot for additional storage. In terms of connectivity, this gadget offers Class 32, 107 / 64.2 kbps GPRS; Class 32, 296 kbps EDGE; 3.6 Mbps HSDPA; Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, UPnP technology; Bluetooth and USB connectivity. This mobile phone is installed with Symbian OS 9.3, S60 rel. 3.2 as its operating system. It enables SMS, MMS, e-mail, Instant Messaging and also equipped with WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML and RSS reader for internet browsing. It is built with a 5 MP, 2592x1944 pixels, Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, video(VGA 30fps) camera with flash on its back and secondary VGA video call camera in the front. Plus, it is built with a GPS receiver with A-GPS function that provides navigation function for the user. The DVB-H TV broadcast receiver allows the user to watch TV directly on the phone’s screen. It plays MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA formats. Furthermore, there are also a 3.5 mm audio output jack, TV out, stereo FM Radio with RDS, organizer, T9, push to talk, voice dial/memo and built-in hands-free. The Li-Ion 950 mAh (BL-5F) battery is able to last for up to 220 hours in standby and up to 3 hours and 40 minutes during talk time.
