The W380i is built with a 176 x 220 pixels, 1.9 inches TFT screen that provides 256K colours. There is a second external OLED mono display (128 x 36 pixels) at the front that provides easy-touch music controls. There is a built in 14 MB shared memory and also enables user to slot in Memory Stick Micro (M2), up to 4 GB, for additional storage. In terms of connectivity, this phone connects via Class 10 (4+1/3+2 slots), 32 - 48 kbps GPRS; HSCSD; Class 10, 236.8 kbps EDGE; Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and USB. Besides voice calls, this phone also allows the user to SMS, EMS, MMS, e-mail and instant messaging. Moreover, user is able to browse internet by using WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML (NetFront) and RSS reader. There is also a built-in 1.3 MP, 1280x1024 pixels camera in front. Its Walkman player feature provides song, artist and album information through its TrackID music recognition. Other features include Gesture Control, Java MIDP 2.0, T9, FM radio with RDS, image viewer, Picture Editor, organiser, built-in hands-free and voice memo. The Li-Ion 930 mAh (BST-39) battery enables to hold up to 300 hours of stand-by time and up to 7 hours of talk time. It measures 92 x 49 x 16 mm in dimensions and weighs 100g. Colours available including Electric Purple, Magnetic Grey, Black Champagne and Black Orange.
