Features

The Canon VIXIA HV30 features a camcorder with CMOS sensor that reproduces high-resolution images at 1920 x 1080 resolutions with full HD information in video images. It features Canon’s noise reduction technology which minimizes noise when the signal for each pixel is released. This camcorder uses a RGB Primary Color Filter with Bayer Pattern that separates light into red, green and blue color components. This Bayer Pattern delivers high definition images without creating false colors. The Canon VIXIA HV30 uses the DIGIC DVII image processing which improves color reproduction in skin tones, dark and light scenes. In addition to this, it uses a hybrid noise reduction system. Canon’s SuperRange OIS allows image stabilization through a wide range of camera motions. This feature corrects camcorder shake and keeps shots steady without losing image quality. This camera offers Instant AF feature which uses an external sensor with autofocus system to reduce focus ‘hunting’. The 2.7-Inch Multi-Angle Vivid Widescreen LCD on the Canon VIXIA HV30 shows the things being recorded in the camcorder. This screen also offers less glare and deeper contrasts features. This camera features 24p Cinema Mode which enables capture of film like scenes. It features CINE setting which changes the color and tonal characteristics while evoking the look and feel of a movie shown in a theatre. In addition to this, this camera offers 30p Progressive Mode which gives enhanced quality to still images captured after recording. The Canon VIXIA HV30 allows simultaneous photo recording which can record HD video and capture a 2 Megapixel photo at the same time to a memory card. This camera offers built-in electronic lens cover which means the lens cover will open when the camcorder is turned on.
