The Sony HDR-SR11 features 5 megapixels ClearVid CMOS Sensor which delivers detailed video footage as well as 10.2 megapixels still images. The Exmor technology captures images with high resolution and high sensitivity. In addition to this, the Sony BIONZ image processor reduces response time and screens out noise to keep the pixel signals pure. This camcorder records videos in 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolutions. It offers Face Detection technology for video footage and digital still photos by recognizing up to 8 faces anywhere in the frame and controls focus, exposure and color when a photo is captured. The Hybrid Recording technology transfers video footage and digital photos from the camcorder into 60GB internal hard disk drive and removable Memory Stick Duo media or Memory Stick PRO Duo media cards. High resolution images and videos are displayed on the 3.2 inches wide Touch Panel XtraFine LCD screen. The Sony HDR-SR11 features Dolby Digital 5.1 Creator which is a built-in zoom microphone which focuses audio recording on subjects in sync with the camera’s zoom lens. It offers D-Range Optimization which preserves image data in bright highlights and details images when in shooting in backlit settings. In addition to this, the Tele Macro Mode shoots close-up shots and prevents the camcorder from casting a shadow on the subject. This camcorder records and plays back both High Definition (HD) and Standard Definition (SD) video. The HDMI connectivity provides simple, high-quality video and audio connection which transmits HD video and 5.1 channel audio direct from the camcorder to compatible HDTVs via a single cable. In addition to this, the BRAVIA Sync (CEC) technology controls the camcorder and HDTV sing a single BRAVIA TV remote. This camcorder has integrated data index function which search recorded content by shooting date to find a specific scene.
