Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28 is a digital camera with 10.1megapixels CCD, 27mm wide-angle f/2.8 LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT Lens with 18x optical zoom and 2.5" LCD screen. Its features are Intelligent Auto Mode with AF Tracking, 13fps High-Speed Burst Shooting Mode in 3 megapixel and Venus Engine IV Image Processing Engine. It comes in two colors, silver and black.

The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ28 is equipped with 18x zoom lens which can pull in subjects from far and takes close-ups. The Intelligent Auto Mode with AF Tracking continually tracks subject in motion and keep it in focus. With this feature, it is also able to prevent hand shake and reduces blur for moving subject. Moreover, the Face detection technology optimizes shooting settings on up to fifteen faces in frame. The Venus Engine IV image processing engine reduces image noise without resolution degradation. With this processing engine, it is able to snap off shots at 13 frames per second for subject with fast motion in High Speed Burst Shooting mode. In terms of optical accessories, it has optional accessories to expand shooting possibilities. A tele-conversion lens with 1.7x power and a close-up lens can be mounted using a lens adaptor. It can also capture image with high sensitivity mode at a setting of up to ISO 6400. It has a 50MB internal memory. Its support media storages are SD Memory Card, SDHC Memory Card and MultiMediaCard. It measures approximately 117.6 x 75.3 x 88.9 mm in dimension and weighs approximately 417g with batteries.
