Apple iPod Nano 3rd generation is a flash based mp3 player with a 2” LCD screen with blue-white LED backlight (320 x 240 resolutions). Its features are iTunes video game supporting and video playback. It is offered in several storage capacities: 8GB and 16GB.

The Apple iPod Nano 3rd generation supports video playback, audio and photos. It is equipped with a split-screen main menu system that displays the menu on the right half of the screen and a picture related to the selection on the left. It integrates Cover Flow technology, where flipping, navigating, exploring music albums and songs are done by using Click Wheel. It supports file transferring on Operating System such as Microsoft Windows Vista , Microsoft Windows XP Home , Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP 2 or later , Apple Mac OS X 10.4.8 or later. With the 16GB storage, the iPod Touch can store and play up to 14000 photos or 4000 songs. It supports digital audio in AAC, Protected AAC, MP3, MP3 VBR, Audible 2/3/4, WAV, AIFF and Apple Lossless format. Its battery life supports up to 24 hours continuous audio playback and up to 4 hours of continuous video playback. In terms of video, it supports video playback in H.264 or MPEG-4 standard. It offers video resolutions up to 640 x 480 pixels at 30 fps. As for photos, it supports images in the format of JPEG, BMP, GIF, TIFF, PSD and PNG.It measures 90.7 x 38.7 x 6.2 mm in dimension and weighs approximately 36.8g. The standard package comes with earphones, standard USB cable 2.0, quick start guide and docking adapter.
