The Apple iPod Touch is portable media player with a 3.5 inch TFT LCD display. Its features are touch screen, WiFi internet connectivity and wireless music store.

The Apple iPod Touch is equipped with a 3.5 inch widescreen multi-touch display with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. It is controlled largely using an icon-based touch-screen navigation menu. It is offered in several storage capacities: 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB. It is the first iPod to offer web access via built-in WiFi support. It integrates a variety of WiFi supported features, such as a Safari Web browser, POP/IMAP e-mail, YouTube video portal and iTunes WiFi music store. By having the iTunes WiFi music store function, browsing, previewing and purchasing new music and video can be done directly and wirelessly via the player. As security measure, purchasing of new music requires personal iTunes password. With the 16GB storage, the iPod Touch can store and play up to 20,000 photos or 3500 songs. It supports digital audio in AAC, MP3, Audible, WAV, AIFF and Apple Lossless format. The supported digital player playback modes are Playlist, One track repeat, All tracks repeat, Random play / shuffle. In terms of video, it supports video playback in H.264 or MPEG-4 standard. It offers video resolutions up to 640 x 480 pixels at 30 fps. By using an optional Apple AV cable, Universal Dock, or qualifying third-party video accessory, it is able to output video and photos to a television. As for photos, it supports images in the format of JPEG, BMP, GIF, TIFF, PSD and PNG. Its battery life supports up to 22 hours continuous audio playback and up to 5 hours of continuous video playback. Besides, it incorporates additional features such as Notes, Calendar, Cover Flow, Phone book, Date display and Stock Tracker. It measures 4.3 x 2.4 x 0.3 inches in dimension and weighs approximately 12.8 ounces. The standard package comes with earphones, standard USB cable, polishing cloth, stand and docking adapter.
