The Creative ZEN X-Fi supports photos, video, audio and subscription music. Furthermore, it is integrated with FM radio and is able to preset 32 stations. It also can function as a voice recorder. The X-Fi technology restores the detail and expands the audio to surround sound with X-Fi Crystalizer and X-Fi CMSS-3D. With the WiFi capability, music streaming and photos viewing can be done wirelessly from PC to the player within a home network. It is also able to connect to Yahoo Messenger or Windows Live Messenger. It is equipped with a SD card expansion slot. It supports up to 36 hours continuous audio playback and up to 5 hours of continuous video playback. The Creative ZEN X-Fi is equipped with other features such as built-in equalizer, alarm, calendar, bass boost, volume control and built-in organizer. Its supported video playback formats are MJPEG, WMV and with transcoding format are MPEG-4, DivX and XviD. Its supported digital audio standards are AAC, MP3, WAV, WMA, ADPCM and Audible. It supports still image formats such as JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG and TIFF. The standard package comes with Installation CD, Quick start guide, Quick start WiFi guide, EP-830 noise isolating in-ear earphones and USB 2.0 cable. The EP-830 earphones are equipped with noise-isolation capability. It measures 3.3 x 2.2 x 0.5 inches in dimension and weighs approximately 2.4 ounces.
